School Days

Well, the summer flew by and it is back to school time.  Brady is in 1st grade this year, and was so excited to get back.  So far, he is loving it!  Macy started preschool this year and is doing an awesome job.  She loves going to school and gets an excellent report every day.  I'm so proud of both of them!  Can't believe how fast they're growing up!

The kids had a blast at the County Fair!  They couldn't get enough of all the rides and games.  Good times!

Happy Birthday

It's hard to believe we now have a 6 year old and a 4 year old.  Where does the time go?  The kiddos wanted a Toy Story party for their birthday this year, so we made some Mr. Potato Head cake pops and alien cupcakes.  Yummy.  Even though it was a chilly, rainy day, the kids didn't mind and still had a lot of fun.

School Carnival

Ok, so.....I have a lot of catching up to do!  Oops....

In April they had a carnival at Brady's school.  Lots of inflatables, games, food, face painting and a balloon artist.  The kids loved it and had a blast!

Brady's New Friend

Brady could not wait to get out and play in the snow.  We built this little snowman friend, but he knocked him down right after this picture =(

Santa Visit!

We went to see Santa this morning.  I can't believe it's already that time of year!

Trick or Treat!

On Halloween, we played some fun Halloween games and then went trick or treating.  The kids had a blast and scored a bunch of candy.

On Friday afternoon, we went to Brady's school for their costume parade.  Then Friday evening, we went to a bonfire/weenie roast.  Lots of fun!

Kindergarten Open House

Yesterday we went to Brady's school for the Kindergarten open house. It was exciting, but chaotic! They have 32 kids in each kindergarten class. Crazy! His school is brand new, and super nice. They have a big common area between the classrooms, their own bathroom, and a smartboard, which I've never seen, but is really cool. Today is his first full day and I'm looking forward to him coming home and telling me all about it. I'm sure he had a great day!

Kindergarten time!!

Brady's school has an Early Start program where the kindergartners can go the week before school starts for 3 days, 3 hours/day. A great way to ease them in. We signed Brady up and he loved it! Now, I hope he likes it as much next week when he'll be there all day!
