Kindergarten Open House

Yesterday we went to Brady's school for the Kindergarten open house. It was exciting, but chaotic! They have 32 kids in each kindergarten class. Crazy! His school is brand new, and super nice. They have a big common area between the classrooms, their own bathroom, and a smartboard, which I've never seen, but is really cool. Today is his first full day and I'm looking forward to him coming home and telling me all about it. I'm sure he had a great day!

Kindergarten time!!

Brady's school has an Early Start program where the kindergartners can go the week before school starts for 3 days, 3 hours/day. A great way to ease them in. We signed Brady up and he loved it! Now, I hope he likes it as much next week when he'll be there all day!

4th of July

Patiently waiting for the parade to start

We had a funfilled 4th of July weekend. We watched the fireworks in Rantoul on Friday and the parade on Saturday morning. We headed to Waynesville Saturday night for a hog roast and more fireworks. Then cooked out and watched the Bloomington fireworks on Sunday. We had two tuckered out kiddos by the time the weekend was over!

Chris' sister brought her kids over Saturday to play. The kids had so much fun playing together!

My grandpa turned 90 on Valentine's Day and we threw a surprise party for him. Everyone had a great time!
