6 Weeks Old

Little Miss Macy is six weeks old today. The time has flown by! I'll be going back to work next week, and am not looking forward to it at all. Although, it might be nice to get out of the house! I will definitely miss spending all day with my babies. Macy has started smiling, though not very often, and I haven't been able to get a picture of it yet. She is getting so big!

Whenever Brady sees me get my camera out, he immediately starts saying cheese, and this is the silly face he makes.

Happy 4th of July!

Macy's first 4th of July was pretty uneventful. We hung out at home all day. Chris fried up some catfish, then we went and watched the fireworks. Brady loved watching the fireworks. He said they were "way cool" and "beautiful."

Brady was not too interested in swimming last summer. This year, we can't get him out of his pool! When he wants to go swimming, he asks if he can "go outside and take a bath."

Brady meets his new sister

Papa, GG, Christie and Peyton came to visit us in the hospital and brought Brady to meet his new sister. He was very energetic and wanted to kiss and hold his baby sister. He even tried to give her his blankie! I think he's going to be a great big brother.

It was amazing to me how big my little boy seemed all of a sudden. I mean, I just saw him yesterday and he was just a little guy, and now I look at him and he is huge! His little hands are now huge, his feet seem enormous......when did this happen? I know he couldn't have grown this much overnight. It even seems like he's talking better and understanding more. I guess he is no longer the baby and I am seeing him in a new light. Brady is officially a big brother!

Macy made her appearance on June 3rd, 2007. Almost 2 weeks early, and only 6 days after her big brother's 2nd birthday. She has quite a bit of hair, but not nearly as much as Brady had. She is perfect, and absolutely beautiful!
